Great place with great wi-fi, a cute bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. I'll always remember how the staff helped with a wake-up call during my first stay. Highly recommend it for comfort and service!

The location is unbeatable and brilliant and the hotel is clean. The rooms are immaculate and tidy, have feather pillows. The best thing is location - short walk to the village, Bridge of Orchy and Scotland. And it's by River Fillan. The main bar is cosy, liked this place.

I loved the warm welcome and the traditional Scottish decor, made my stay so inviting while the nearby West Highland Way was perfect for a scenic stroll and discovering amazing landscapes.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality restaurant. Excellent large room with comfortable wide bed. Big window that could be opened wide! So not stuffy or overheated. Plentiful parking and close to scenic mountain scenery. Very close to station for trains to Oban or Fort William. Good local store for all essentials.
Room servicing was not thorough. Breakfast items tended to run out quite regularly.

It was in a good location for an overnight stay on our way to northern Scotland. The room was comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good.
Thought it was somewhat expensive for what it was, but then there is really no competition in the area, so probably why.

It is very isolated
We booked it believing it to be near Lock Lomond But it is too far away to walk The food is al a carte and very expensive We had to drive to Ballock 30 miles away My wife is lactose intolerant and they did not cater For her needs They also had feather quilts and pillows no good For asthmatics... They gave us two single polyester quilts Rooms very out dated, and ours had damp patches

Re Crianlarich Hotel Date of stay – Saturday 9th June I am writing to complain about my stay in the Crianlarich hotel It was a very disappointing experience My 2 daughters my son in law and I were completing the west highland way and decided to stay at the above hotel half way through the walk. We were camping the rest of the 6 days and hoped to have a relaxing luxury break away from the rain and the plague of miggies in the west of Scotland In particular I was looking forward to a hot bath The following occurred We arrived at 12 30 and none of the 3 rooms were ready until 3-30pm The receptionist/manger appeared confused and flustered and unable to help “because the hotel was full (I thought that was normal) – the Olympic flame had passed by in the morning The bar and restaurant were understaffed – had to wait for service No Crabbies ginger beer, no apple juice – no Blue Sapphire Gin as advertised in the drinks list The restaurant service was very poor – the waiters appeared untrained in guest care, didn’t understand the menu – we asked if there were potatoes included in the dish – waiter said there were – there were nt! Ibnored in the restaurant for an hour Asked for English Mustard with steak – “we will see if we have any!!!” Staff appeared stressed – not customer focused Overcharged on the bill in the bar due to an error - ?if staff trained Worst of all – I had no hot water in my room for the duration of the stay and no heated towel rail – I had a cold shower /bath _ totally unacceptable I would like full compensation for an horrendous stay We completed the West Highland way over the next 3 days and all felt incredibly let down by the hotel and the staff.

The food and the staff was excellent.
The room 221 was terrible.I have never stayed in a hotel room where the television set was on top of the wardrobe. The bathroom was covered in black mold, no window and extract fan air flow restricted due to dust build up on intake. Wakened up at 7am by kitchen staff smoking outside the kitchen and putting the world to right, below my bedroom window.

The hotel's cozy fireplace in the lounge area adds a nice touch for those chilly nights. Proximity to local hiking trails makes it easy to hit the paths right from the doorstep.
Parking is across a busy road. The room felt cramped with just one bedside cabinet, and temperatures needed adjusting-it was chilly. Not to mention, the bathroom door was narrow, which might be a squeeze for some. Breakfast service was inconsistent. While the options were decent, the timing issues and lack of table attention left something to be desired. It had its quirks that may not suit everyone's standards.
